Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

1. Accounts and Age

You sign in with Google OAuth. You must be at least 21 years old to use the App. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 21.

2. Educator Verification

The App is built for professional educators — teachers, administrators, and school staff. New accounts start unverified with limited features (single display, basic schedules). To unlock the full toolkit you submit verification (a link to your school’s public staff page or a photo of your school/staff ID), which we review manually.

If we determine, at our sole discretion, that an account is not being used by a professional educator for their own school’s schedules, we may suspend or permanently delete the account without notice.

3. Permitted Use

The App is intended exclusively for individual professional educators using it for their own school’s bell schedules. Any other use is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to:

• Use by businesses, companies, organizations, or commercial entities of any kind;
• Use for commercial, marketing, advertising, or revenue-generating purposes;
• Resale, redistribution, or sublicensing of access to the App;
• Use as a component of any product or service offered to third parties;
• Bulk, automated, or scripted access.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create (displays, schedules, schedule blocks, branding assets). By submitting content you grant us a limited license to display and operate it within the App. Don’t upload illegal, infringing, or harmful content. You’re responsible for keeping your own backups of important data.

5. Public Display URLs

Each display has a public URL where the bell schedule is visible to anyone on the internet and may be indexed by search engines. Use your professional judgement and don’t include student-identifiable data on the schedule. We do not verify what you publish; you are responsible for compliance with your school’s policies and applicable privacy laws (e.g., FERPA).

6. Privacy

What we collect:

• Your name and email (via Google OAuth sign-in).
• Your school name and verification proof (a staff-page URL or school-ID photo). Verification photos are stored privately and only used for review; we delete them once verification is complete.
• Content you create (displays, schedules, etc.).
• Basic usage data (device/IP, logs, analytics).

We do not collect student-identifiable data. We do not sell your data. We share only with trusted vendors (such as hosting) or when required by law. Data is encrypted in transit and stored on secure servers; no method is 100% secure.

7. Email Communications

By creating an account, you agree to receive emails from us related to your account, this service, product updates, news, offers for related products we make, and occasional promotional messages from our parent company Cranium Craze. We do not sell your email address to third parties. To stop receiving messages from us, delete your account (see Section 8).

8. Account Deletion

To delete your account and associated data, email [email protected] from the address tied to your account. Deletion is permanent and irreversible. There is no in-app deletion form — email is the only path.

9. Service “As Is” — Use at Your Own Risk

The App is provided to you free of charge, “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. You use the App entirely at your own risk. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any damages of any kind — including data loss, service interruptions, lost profits, or any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — arising from or related to your use of the App.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or permanently delete any account at our sole discretion, at any time, for any reason or no reason at all, with or without notice.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. Any disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in Texas; no jury trials or class actions, except as required by applicable law.
